How To Care Your Mattress?

Fine Hello!

Before we proceed, must aware that Fine Mattress has a state-of-the-art production facility in New Industrial Area and we are making sure that the product will be processed with constant care. Also, our mattresses are high packed with our vacuum-compressed machines to make sure that our products are free from bugs, rodents, and other organisms that interrupt our quality.

Upon purchasing our products, once you remove your new mattress from its packaging, leave it uncovered for a few hours to allow it to air. You need to leave your mattress in a warm room for 24 hours before using it. When you first start using your new mattress, it will probably feel a bit different from your old one, so please allow time for your body to adjust to the new level of comfort and support and the mattress fillings to settle.

So here are some tips for caring for your mattress to maximize its lifespan.

Have It Rotated From Time To Time

To avoid lumps and bumps, you may rotate it end to end for the second week for the fourth month, and then every three months after. If you think there are some consistencies on defects, it is best to check your warranty and don’t hesitate to ask our sales representative where you bought it.

Have Regular Check-up

Your mattress is only as good as the foundation that it’s placed on. Keep it up by checking the legs and castors every six months to see if they need to be tightened.

Setting On The Mattress

Don’t set on the same spot. When it comes to sitting on the edge of your bed to get dressed or tie your shoes, sitting in the same spot every time can cause your mattress to lose its structure prematurely.

Don’t Jump Around!

Jumping may sound like fun, but it is best if you avoid jumping on your mattress all the time as it may damage the coils and the fibers of your mattress.

Protect It With Sheets Or A Protector

A fitted sheet can help to protect your mattress, keeping it even safer from dirt and stains. Also, some mattress protectors can provide extra padding for comfort, as well as protection from allergens and bedbugs.

Be Careful In Carrying Your Mattress

Your mattress may have straps on the side, but they’re not made for carrying it. Those straps are made to help to position your mattress. If you need to lift it completely, do so by inserting your hand from underneath and make sure that you have family colleagues, or helpers to work together. Start your lifting power from your legs and while you’re on set, move carefully and have a glance on sides and downwards.

Keep It Clean And Dry

You might not think of taking a vacuum to your mattress, but you should. Regularly giving it a clean sweep helps to keep dust from becoming ground into the mattress. Spilled something? You can rub at it with warm soapy water, but avoid getting it any wetter than you have to since moisture creates a breeding ground for mold. Then, let it dry completely before making the bed.
